Mély, sötét intenzitású, bíborba hajló sötétvörös színárnyalat jellemzi. Bársonyos, nagy testű bor, illatában érett cseresznye, dohány érezhető, ízében a túlérett gyümölcsök mellett a csokoládé és a vanília jelenik meg.
